The winds of change

As we experience the constant winds of change in our life such as our health, relationships, age, abilities and financial situations. It is good to remember that those changes have the most devastating effects on two groups of people / structures. The first are the ones that are so rigid that when enough pressure comes consistently enough they break (structurally or emotionally). The next group are those that are so fragile/ superficial that the least measure of change that occurs causes structural damage or panic.

Now, for the people that seem to weather the storm the best, well, they seem to be the ones that are rooted in core values with universal principles but yet flexible enough to bend to adjust their way of thinking or perceiving things to match what is going on in the outside world. As the song says "Everything Must Change."

To function above and beyond we must remember as Maya Angelou says "We are created creative and can invent new scenarios as frequently as they are needed."

I would like to hear how you deal with the winds of change.

Respect
